Sorry, I was wrong earlier. I said that bidding on the '38 dime stopped at $162.50, when it actually stopped at just $102.50.
So no one was even willing to come close to the MS-63 price on this one. Even if it's not an MS-65, it should still be atleast a solid MS-64 IMO.

This is just another example of how soft the market is right now.

So, if the market is soft right now, this is a good time to buy? Assuming the sellers are willing to sell.

Please help me to understand... why is the market soft right now? I was always thought the market is what people are willing to pay... no?

Yes, the market is what people are willing to pay. Right now, however, people are not willing to pay anywhere near retail for probably >95% of Canadian coins.
