Saw this same question posted at an earlier date, but still wasn't sure about my coin. I bought this coin thinking it was, and probably broke even even if it isn't. Thank you for any help. Don

Looks like a large 8 to me. I don't know if it's the overdate, though - the I in PLURIBUS seems to be in the wrong position compared to the T in STATES, which is a prime diagnostic for attributing Bust Halves.

Thanks Dave, I had thought the defining attribute for the rare variety was the M under the A on nthe rev on America. I'll have to send it in I guess.

Both overdate varieties for 1812 have the same reverse die and this isn't it On the overdates the right edge of the ribbon is under the right base of the A. On this coin it is under the left base of the M It is either rev D or E which both come paired with obv 5 I think this is rev D making this O-105
