I'm just not interested in collecting U.S. coins anymore. I don't like the new stuff and don't have the cash for better classic coins. I guess I'm lost in it all. Any ideas?

Try the victory nickel set. You could get most dates pretty cheap in F-VF condition. Or just save up and start buying silver coins. You can put together a set, and still have that precious metal value as well.

Don't get better classic coins. There is no shame in building sets of coins in Good-4 conidition or even less. These coins are generally affordable and have a fasciating history of having been used in a bygone era.

Romans are cheap. If you're a history buff, they can be fun.

Have you completed (or nearly completed) a wheat set? That's fun and inexpensive if you stay away from the early mints. Go by year only (rather than mint) and it can be fun and inexpensive.
