Folks here might want to read up on the collection of this other fella from Egypt, name of Farouk. He had a decent coin collection, including a couple US pieces.

Quote: You may want to suggest to all your fellow collectors to also join this forum. It is always great to hear from those far away as to what they collect and how. Also, they too may want to start trading. It is always fantastic to hear from people like you and similar others that also have the same interests.
I did but most are old age guys and one of them once told me that the language is a problem so many rely on me ..... I try to help as much as I can ....... I do have a used copy of a 2008 Red Book and I refer to it many times and offcourse when I need anything I know that all of CCF members will be willing to help But there are two younger members whom I will try to make them join CCF

I am very fond of King Farouk and I am trying to complete a collection of all his coins, notes and stamps in addition to any old documents or pictures. I have once posted an article about King Farouk here on CCF in 2008 ...... this is the link to it if any one is interested http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...PIC_ID=24778

I thought that I would never dare to expand it to include other series but it seems that I thought wrong I have added these very nice coins (Thanks to Ken "Match box" ). They are considered both a backward and forward extension to the Statehood series and I would like to share my joy with you all I will start backward, so first I have some dates from the 60s 1965, 66, 69

Very impressive sets you have there. It is so cool that you have a great passion for US coinage. I love the part about you going backwards and forwards with your quarter collection. I would love to help you with your wheat cents, let us know what you need and I will see what I have extras of. Eg, send me a message via e-mail with your mailing address and I will send something to you.

I live in the midwest and have found a total of 6 2011 Gettysburg p quarters this year in change, no other designs. You must have a nice friend here in the states to get those to you. Or I may need to get a friend in Egypt to get some to me.

Very nice! At this rate, you will have more completed US sets than I do.
