A truly fantastic achievement for a collector of USA coins in Egypt! I am thrilled for you and your latest accomplishment Amr ... great photos and a truly significant accomplishment. Very well done indeed. Wondering what USA coins you are still working on ... and how we can help with your sets? Thanks for sharing the photos and the joy of your 2nd completed set. David

Awesome job Eg! As Darth Vader would say, "Impressive. Most impressive". A great achievement and I am also happy for you as well! Which design is your favorite? (mine's Nevada). I only have one of the cheapo folders with only 50 slots for 1 of each design . But it has a pretty map in the middle! Anyways, are you thinking of expanding it to the DC and Territories quarters? Its only 12 coins. Again, awesome job!

Thanks guys for your kind words Quote: nickelsearcher: Wondering what USA coins you are still working on ... Quote: murrellington: I too am curious what other coins you collect from the U.S. I have been collecting US coins since 2006 and I didn't finish any till the last couple of months. My first set to be completed was the Kennedy half and the State Quarter Series is the second one. I am still working on; 1- Jefferson nickle set placed in a Harris folder (13 coins to finish). 2- Roosevelt dime set 1946-Date placed in 2x2 and hope to see it someday in a Dansco album (17 Coins to finish). 3- Lincoln Cent set placed in a Harris folder (need a lot of dates especially wheat cents .... I owe a great start to my friend Steve "triggersmob" Quote: JangoFett: Which design is your favorite? (mine's Nevada). My favorites are Nevada, Kansas, N. Not now, may be later as I need to concentrate on the above three sets, especially the Lincolns as I still have many holes to fill Quote: triggersmob: I'm nearly there. I have 91 of the 100. Send me a list Steve may be I can get you some from my American friends.... or may be John or Joe could help.. did you try asking them?

for the cents, nickels, and dimes... what condition are you looking for? uncirculated or just any coins pulled from circulation?

Awesome achievement, Eg! I especially like the boards you used to house the collection, very eye catching. I can tell you that most 50 State Quarter collectors that live in America probably don't have all 100 coins. So to accomplish this from Egypt via friends in America is really quite remarkable. Congratulations!

Thanks Bizybackson .... I really owe this achievement to a lot of trades and gifts from my great American and Australian friends. Many of them are members of Coin Community

Nice. I saved some of the new quarters when they first came out years ago and it's really helped me work on my quarter collection. I was not going to do the quarters but filled one that I could put on the wall, then the 99-01 whitman #1, and am now working on the 50 state P&D set. Which I think will require me to buy boxes of quarters at the bank in order to get it filled up any faster.
Work on your collections now, just wait, one of these days the banks will start charging customers to get boxes or rolls, they do at the credit union I'm at. ALSO .. the receipts on the coin machines have a new line item, it's called SERVICE CHARGE, although it was still at 0.00, we are turning into a land of cheapskates.
