I Captured the color of this coin perfectly. It looks exactly the same in hand. Looks like there may be a little verdigris on the reverse, how would you grade this one?

Edit: Usually I do not do this, but I would grade this one at AU50BN mainly because the detail in the shield and verdigris on the reverse, and some slight rub wear in the hair curl underneath the ribbon. Would anyone grade this higher?

Technical AU-55. I love the coloring on it, too.

I might even go up to AU-58 - the details on the diamonds in the ribbon is pretty sharp.

If it's MS it's going to grade way better than MS-60. Remember, once you make that cut to MS, you're no longer looking for wear but are rather figuring the grade on criteria like the degree, location and severity of contact marks, and remaining luster.

A lot of people forget that, you're not the only one.

I agree with AU 55. It is a very nice coin. Brown IHC are my favorite.

I only paid $6.50 for this one, so I feel I came out pretty well. Thanks folks for the grading.

Yup, Au- 50 to 55.
Some luster left on the reverse making this an excellent pickup.
