I would say it is a worthwhile error to obtain if you like errors simply because of the uniqueness of it, edge lettering had not been used since 1907(UHR Saint-Gaudens $20) and then 1836 before that. It also has the advantage of being fairly inexpensive now, I admit to paying more than I should have for a graded example in 2007 but I still like it. I also own another raw example that was purchased for the current going rate. IMO, two of the best edge lettering errors are the Adams double edge lettering where the overlap is offset one letter so everything is doubled(EE PPLLUURRIIBBUUSS UUNNUUMM) and the Adams with normal and inverted double edge lettering.
