Peaceman Valued Member United States 434 Posts	Posted 07/11/2011 03:18 am I saw a post about a 1964-D Kennedy half dollar DDO and thought I should go through the 200+ that I have to see if I could find one myself. I ended up finding one. I was surprised. After putting way too much time into one coin, I've given up on what # it is. I've taken a lot of photos, hopefully someone here can help. They minted over 150 million of these D's and I can see some die work has been done which may be the norm. considering the mintage figures. Report this Post to the Staff

Your reverse is the the Flared G while mine is the straight G. Here's a list of 1964 DDO and DDRs. http://www.varietyvista.com/Variety...64.htm#_1964 I'm just not sure of the listing on mine and I'm not doing well right now (intractable headaches) so it's really hard for me to look at my coin and match it to the list. In fact, it's hard for me to do anything in the last few weeks. Once I'm felling better, I hope to match it. Your photo are MUCH better than mine, too. You won't believe the number of DDO and DDR on '64 Kennedys! Good luck with your search and keep us updated on what you find. Oh, if you happen to find mine, let me know!
