Found this coin in change. Is this a RPM? Sorry for less than adequate photo, but left side of D shows doubling.

I've moved your question to its own topic. In the future, please start a new topic rather than ask a new question in someone else's thread. That way it can be seen by the experts and given the attention it deserves.

Closer images would be needed to see for sure what is going on with your coin. It could be machine doubling/RPM. but the residue on the mint mark make it difficult to tell what it is for sure?

Yep...looks like 1953D-1MM-002, found at https://www.coppercoins.comlocation of the MM is also centered under the "5" of the date pretty well....should be what your looking for, some of the other markers could be present, but don't have to be depending on die state and circulation wear.... nice find....

haha bill I just learned something looking at your extra material at the bottom. I hadn't heard of a WAM either lol. This is good enough. I'm really getting hooked on these Lincoln cents.

Good find--better hooked in coins; coins as investments can give you an income in the future.
