Help! Nigerian Banknote Signatures.

thai-vic Pillar of the Community Thailand 1509 Posts	Posted 07/16/2011 06:04 am I'm in the process of trying to compile signature lists from certain countries but have a big backlog of work to do. I noticed in the Krause catalog for 1961-Present (2009 edition) that many varieties for Nigeria are listed by signature types but no illustrations! If anyone knows of any internet listings I can use as a guide I'd be most grateful for a link as it would save me a lot of trawling time. Vic Report this Post to the Staff

That certainly gives me the modern examples but it's the introduction of the Naira from 1973 onwards that I'm stuck with. If you have access to a catalog just have a look at km#14 (50 Kobo ND(1973-78) and nine signature varieties listed but...) and you'll understand the problem. Report this Post to the Staff

I could not cut and paste the text. I have to get going in a wee bit and will check back later on today or tomorrow. Is this what you are looking for?
