I have 2 of these. One has 1mm between centers of the Cs in the M/M; the other has the Cs 1mm apart - an obvious 1/2mm difference in the spacing of the M/Ms. This is apparently from the use of different dies, but I can find no references to this in any publications.

Has anyone seen any?

Thanks

Hello Todyoung, welcome!

There are many varieties of 1875-CC dimes and you can probably find them all at "The Definitive Resource for Liberty Seated dime Variety Collectors" website:

http://www.seateddimevarieties.com/index.htm

A quick look at the site shows there are "wide" mintmark varieties with a bigger space between the C's. If you carefully examine the examples on the site you can probably find yours.

It would be helpful to see images of your dimes. Can you post some? I have one 1875-CC dime with "in wreath" mintmark position. It looks like a normal CC spacing, definitely less wide than the "wide" versions shown on the website. See if you can find your exact coins!

FYI, here is my dime. I don't know which specific variety is is:

Looks like Rev I which would probably make it #113.
