I think I found a deal on the coin below so I bought it. How do you think the coin would grade and what would YOU have paid? The photos were taken by the seller, but I'll post new shots when I get it.

Help-With-1866-2-Cent-Grade-And-Value?

Once I get a consensus, I'll let everyone know if I over paid or not.

Thanks!
Ben

OK pics are not the best though they do show detail well.

First impression is corroded and cleaned with VF35 details it may well grade higher if the depth of field had been better on the pics. The arrows show no relief and are flat the leaves are missing the center veins especially on the left. The horizontal shield lines appear the be blended on the right. The ribbon and wheat ears are flat. The fields show signs of pitting. I can see someone asking $50 for this coin I would be reluctant to offer more than $30 then only after I had a chance to inspect it closely for variety diagnostics.
That's probably the reason why I have not bought my 2 Cents lately they seem to have jumped in price...

This one is now residing an an ANACS VF details slab

I just got the coin today. It looks good. I don't think it's cleaned or has any corrosion. The horizontal shield lines are full, with no blending. The fields are nice with only some dirty areas between the letters, but I don't see any problems. Even the edge and rim are in good shape. The high points are much closer in color to the rest of the coin and not as noticeable with the coin in hand as it is in the photos I posted from ebay. I'll take some better (I hope) photos today or tomorrow and post them.

Thanks for the replies!

I think it was worth the price. I got it for $29 including shipping.
