The coin looks like it has great details, but the photos make is look polished or cleaned IMO. I don't know if the contrast/saturation levels are high or what.

I don't see polished or cleaned IMHO, I do see a lack of perfect photo quality as most of us can not accomplish, the die shows its usage, which has seen much life( Die Deterioration which is starting to show in its strike) yet still has a very clean strike with a FB strike....this is not a coin hot off the first production lines yet retains all of the features of a solid strike with full detail nice coin...

Thanks for the replies all. I'm using the usb microscope from Coin World, the focus is tough with it. I'm going to have to break down and buy a nice camera and lens. It is as flawless as it looks and unbelievable in hand. I am pretty sure it has original surfaces.

Las Vegas,
If you can adjust the intensity of the light coming from the microscope, that would greatly reduce the glare and enhance the coin images. I just bought a Canon digital camera, still testing it, at least is better than the broken Kodak digital camera I had for many years.

my first thought was MS66-FSB.
Hard to tell north of that without high res photos.
Gorgeous coin!

It is nice to see a FB Mercury that is ALSO very well struck up on the obverse.
From my experience, there ain't many of 'em!
I have a toned 1919 FB, but this has an obviously better struck obverse than mine.
