CCCS is offering an awesome deal for people with graded coins who may be looking for a secure hard holder which in my opinion is second to none.
The offer is this......CCCS will put any graded coin in a CCCS Hardholder as long as the grade meets or exceeds CCCS's conservative Technical standard for $15.00. From one coin, to 1000. If CCCS does not agree with the coins existing grade, it will be returned free of charge. Just contact CCCS for more info.http://www.canadiancoincertification.com/
I have in my collection numerous PCGs and ICCS coins which are going in! The graders at CCCS are conservative but they are consistent and it is no extra charge for varities or errors. Just thought I would share.

I agree, ain't nothing like a secure hard slab holder, however, try storing large amounts on hard slabs in a bank security safety box. You would have to rent out several of the large boxes to store hundreds of hard slab.

I would not own coins if I had to keep them at the bank.....and yes I own some very valuable coins. Having a safe/strong box installed in your home is paid for by 5 years of bank fees. Then I can look all I want at MY convenience. :-)

I agree with nickelsguy 100%. Also you don't need to tell everyone who surfs the web that you only collect the best & give examples of coins you buy that are worth thousands of dollars. You may get unwelcome guests at your home.

I did just that a year ago.Got some nice varieties in these hard slabs. Also sent about 50 PCGS to be transfered to CCCS as I rather have my Canadian pieces in Canadian holders.(graded to our standards). However,as we are hard hit on the value of our collection,I did not want any coin downgraded.Hence, due to Louis strick grading, only a hand full were moved and the rest returned untouched.I always wondered how a TPG could see the difference if a grade will compare looking through a scratched holder and not cracking it.

I have to disagree with this comment. I really never thought I would have a SDB myself either but my Grandfather had always had a few different ones at a few different banks. When I started getting coins worth around $100,000.00 (1907 St Gaudens) in my collection I then changed my mind because I would hate for someone to find out I had those coins in a safe in my house and just hold a gun to my daughters head or beat her senseless until I opened it to hand it over to them. Now that I do have a SDB any coin or collection of coins that exceeds a certain amount (usually more than 5,000.00) it lives at the bank and I visit it and bring them home when needed for a photo shoot or what ever
