Well hotter than hot here so going through the safe, have more silver than I thought 240 ounces of ASE in tubes and allot of other coins.

I am going crazy I have bought 3 rolls of 90% Kennedy half's on May 9, 2010 or that is when I entered them into my database from someone on the coin forum and I can not find them looked everywhere. Now this will drive me crazy trying to find them or wondering what happened to them.

Took everything out of the big gun safe twice they are not in it.

What did I do with them I never have sold any silver.

Yes, things like that can be incredibly frustrating. Glad to hear that you tracked them down. Where were they?

As to weather... it is a VERY pleasant 74 degrees F here in the beautiful Pacific NW. Sorry to hear that much of the rest of the US is getting roasted these days, though. This is the pay-back for all that rain we also get here.

Ed_B we left south Texas in 2008 winter there went over to Big Bend, over to CA up the coast, OR.WA and into BC just beautiful country over there hope to do that again in 2013.

It was 114 here in the sun but at least it is to cool off some here in central PA by Monday unlike most of the rest of the country.

Sounds like a great trip. I'd like to do the reverse of that sometime and would also like to spend some time in Alaska.

That is just plain ridiculous. When my Dad's military career ended, we were in Lawton, OK, in 1960. The last summer we were there, the shade temp would hit in the mid 1-teens temp range. It stayed there for 73 days. Fortunately, it cooled off at night and would sometimes get down as low as 87 degrees by sun-up. I did not need ANY encouragement not to return there once I was on my own.

Good deal, that made me nervous for a bit, lol....

You could wake me up in another galaxy on board a space cruiser after 1001 years of cryogenic sleep, and the first thing I would say is...."Back up away from my gold and silver stash you filthy scoundrels!"

My ratio is all jacked up compared to the rest of you......but I'm not sure quite how to categorize it. I have about 22 ounces of gold and 70 ounces of silver in the safety deposit box, but the vast majority of it are classic numismatic pieces with various premiums. I'm thinking though that most of my half eagle roll can be counted as strict bullion. Logically, I should stop buying gold and start buying silver, but numismatically, I'm a much bigger fan of gold(obviously).

Sorry to hear that your trip was cut short. I can relate to that, though. I've had back problems all my life and they are NO fun at all.

Yeah, it's easy to get after one particular thing and then get away from other things; sort of a victim of focus. Oh, well. Having a decent stash of PMs of ANY kind is a LOT better than not having any.
