Hello All!

I just finished watching "Streets Of San Francisco", and it was about a collector who owned a 1907 double Eagle high relief. According to the program, the coin was worth 22,500 in 1970. Anyone know what it's worth today? They said it was the most valuable of the Eagles, but I did some research and found that a 1933 sold for about 7 million recently. Anyone know the 1907's value? Just curious. Thanks!

no, the 1907 high relief is not the most valuable double eagle, the 1933 is, and like you said, it sold for about 7.5 million, making it the most valuable coin in the U.S.

and the value of the 1907 high relief double eagle has a value anywhere from $3,000 to $650,000 depending on condition
