Saw this story on the news tonite, ironically right before a segment on millions starving in Africa; this is when you know you have WAY too much money...

Amazing how some people can have so much and others so little. Thank God I am in the middle somewhere.

I try to think about that every time I complain about being overworked. I am currently trying to teach my 4 and 6 year old that life lesson, not so easy with spoiled kids:(

I also saw a story about a rich ruler in the middle east who carved his name so large in the desert it can be seen from space, in English oddly enough not Arabic, lol....

Let me break out my metaphorical jack wagon scales and see who wins tonight. Guy with golden yacht, or ruler who's name can be seen from space....

Look up how many billions Nigeria has made selling oil, then figure out why their people are starving.

Yep... but on the other hand, salt water corrosion will NOT be a significant maintenance issue.

I feel VERY fortunate. I have a great family, reasonably good health, and the resources I need to live a comfortable, if not lavish, life. In fact, I have what few billionaires have... I have enough.

Barnacles, what barnacles? This vessel is far too elite to have such a plebeian problem!

It definitely is gaudy, and about as pretentious as you can get, bragging rights and all that. And I'm with Ed_B, I also have everything a person needs for a good life, but I have to admit I've always wanted to be able to say "Captain, get the boat ready, I'll be right down"!
