Nevol Formerly nancyc Australia 5385 Posts	Posted 07/21/2011 10:09 pm In the band of the King's crown, there are 4 pairs of pearls, like a colon : in between diamonds. 4 clear pairs is an 8 pearler and so on. The coin does look a little strange, however. There are traces of red in the lettering, but the coin is worn in the area of the headband of the King's crown. good Fine. Report this Post to the Staff

I want to get 3 complete sets to give to my kids for christmas. DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 07/23/2011 11:12 am I would also say a gFine or possibly better. The beading on the reverse looks better than usual for the grade, so there may be more detail in the crown band I'm not seeing? Report this Post to the Staff

It looks like there is the base of band on the crown which would put it in the Fine category. It's pretty neat & tidy as far as dirt/etc, but it may be from a clean. But it also looks like there may be 6 pearls on it. No real damage is visible apart from the rim knock above the V in GEORGIVS. My only concern are the couple patches of bronze disease that can be seen on the obverse. Report this Post to the Staff
