Fake coin. Wrong crown over the globes and the florets are all wrong. "3's" look wrong. Just just doesn't look right.

Note that the majority of bids are coming from a "New ebay Member" (less than 30 days) with zero feedback. He/she is currently the high bidder.

In all honesty, it doesn't look good in the least bit...

"Just doesn't look right" is as far as one needs to go in analyzing this one... it's just "a bit off" in so many minute ways. If this isn't obvious, please for your own safety, DON'T go buying any raw higher-end crowns anytime soon.

Stunningly, the strike price was $1900+! Now, was any of the bidding legit? A 1733 Pillar should really only be the purview of serious bidders with good $$ to spend (presumably acquired at least in part due to possessing SOME sort of intelligence)... Smaller fish get reeled in on obvious Asian/other fakery in the $100 range all the time... but NOT in this price ballpark. There were THREE different bidders over $1400... was it possible the seller really thinks this is legit and pulled out the double-barreled shill cannon? Or (gasp), were there 2 or 3 big bidders who thought this was legit?!

The whole thing inspires head-scratching...
