Here's my favorite: OK, fine, it's not really mine. But it is my favorite Morgan. NGC PF69UCAM.

I was thinking I needed a DMPL morgan for my collection. But I think I need a proof now... I just have to save up for a few thousand years.

Just arrived from Jaobler. Awesome coin that going south for grading. I'm calling it a DMPL with awesome toning. My only hiccup is that the toning matches on both sides. Is that necessarily a red flag? Paleoguy

Quote: Is that necessarily a red flag? No, that's a "every serious coin photographer within five thousand miles would kill to get their hands on that coin" flag.

Quote:A good DMPL Morgan is almost impossible to tell from a Proof. For instance, I suspect this one would knock your socks off: http://cgi.ebay.com/1881-S-PCGS-DMP...em19c7614efd I'm holding out (and saving up) for one with a little color, probably a 4-5 slobber coin... My thirst for gem coins is going to test my ability to stay inside my hobby budget.
