I am still very new to know what this is?
Is it a repunched mm? Double die?
Any information would be appreciated. Also if anyone can send me towards some sites to learn more about errors and varieties. I feel like a sponge ready for more and more.
The pic is of the mint mark of a 1964 Washington quarter. I didnt see any other signs of doubling.
Thank you for your help and a big THANKS to the people who keep this site going.

Repunched Mintmark is the term you are seeking, and yours is not. It is Machine Doubling, and yes, Machine Doubling is actually quite prevelant only on the mintmark on Washington quarters.
