Statehood Quarter Question - Coin Community Forum

Alisha Jetty New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted 07/27/2011 5:38 pm Thank You, I really appreciate the help moving my question to the right forum. My question is: I have a State Quarter that looks normal on the front with all the proper markings, but on the back instead of just one state it has three. The back of the quarter has an astronaut, the Wright brothers plane, and what looks like Plymouth rock with 2003 underneath. They are stamped one over the other excluding where the state's name would be, that has the first three letters of what looks like Ohio. I would like to have it authenticated because I received it back as change. I don't know if my web cam can take an accurate picture but I can try to load one. biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 07/27/2011 6:30 pm It sounds like an Ohio State Quarter- John Glenn is from Ohio as were the Wright Brothers. However, it should be dated 2002 and there is no rock, just the state outline. Report this Post to the Staff
