I do not see one listed anywhere but looking at the coin I can see it! Any info would be appreciated.

I see doubling, but only on the mint mark. Could be a repunched mint mark.

IMO, looks like Machine Doubling. -flat and shelf like-

EDIT: as I stare at it more. I'm not so sure it isn't an RPM.. especially because nothing else is doubled.

EDIT 2: here is a good pic of a 1964-D RPM from ebay.

Thanks for having a look and your input. With a 60x loop there are 3 separate layers.

Yeah, most likely an RPM.

It was just different...I have found plenty that look like the ebay listing but this is the only one I have seen with what looks to me like DDD

Can't really tell by your photo but I'm guessing MD. The e-Bay photo posted looks like a MD also not a DD, IMHO.

Well, like said above, the MM is too blurred to really tell, but I can see someone really looking at the MM may see it as an RPM.

I'm leaning to RPM myself. I really don't see a triple punch, though.

I noticed that some of our resident experts have not commented, so I moved this topic to the Error and Variety forum.

The doubling in question is flat shelf like. Nothing in the center is doubled. So it is Machine Doubling.
