If that coin had been photoshopped it would not appear like that in reality. I am just a little suspicious about it being artifically toned. It is so easy to do. Anyone with a domestic stove can experiment.

At $3.35, it has cost you very little to learn. Either way, good fortune has smiled upon you.

One can only speculate, with genuine toning or not, how it will turn out 10 years further down the track. Good storage conditions will have to be considered.

Alright, just to finish this off...

Got the dime today, and it is MUCH darker toned than that picture, but still very gorgeous. The toning doesn't appear to be floating, so it might not be AT after all.

Just figured I'd finish off this thread :)
