Found this and think it is probably a nick right on the MM. Could be an RPM though. Thoughts?

It looks like a D/D from here. No other area looks to have Strike Doubling around it and a coin ding would not be so uniformed

Hadn't they moved the mint-mark to the master die by then? Or was that later?

neither "D" is full, if I had to guess......it would be PMD

Looking at your photos, it looks very similar to RPM #2 listed on coppercoins website. here is a link http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=mds

Look on the reverse to see if you have any matches on the markers.

You may wish to post it on coppercoins.com The coin raises a flag to me and that is that the spread isn't on upright of the mint mark. But it does look interesting on the loop. So see if Bob would like to take a look?

Look like PMD to me since it only looks like it was hit in one spot which moved the die a little. If it was a D/D you would clearly see the whole D line on the coin.
