Can anyone tell me what the RPM1 stands for?I know the R is for RED,
but the others....?

Repunched mint mark.

This coin is very dramatic and is found in about 15% of 1970 mint sets.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

I misunderstood the question, I thought you were asking about the qualities of the coin not what RPM meant, but as you already know RPM means Re Punched Mintmark

RPM 1 for most coins with several variations refers to the 1st one discovered or attributed.

The same can be seen with many of the State Quarter DDO's.
