Well, 1928 itself isn't looking really promising, but if she's back there at that time, then please ask here to pick me up a 1927 Canadian quarter ($6,000 MS65) and/or a 1926 Far-6 Canadian dime ($10,000 MS64) ... oh, and please have her track-down a 1924 Canadian 5 dollar bill ($20,000 UNC)

Thanks, Prethen

Oh, and please ask her to get Lester Patrick's autograph (he was the "coach" of the NYRangers, but decided to put himself in goal for the Stanley cup playoffs ... he was in his forties ... and the Rangers with coach Patrick in net actually won their first Stanley Cup) ... you don't see that type o' stuff anymore ....... ooops, my Canadianism is showing, eh?!

Re: the ABC news link: it's a classic case of the uselessness of most anachronisms. She can't be "talking on a cellphone" in 1928, because a cellphone doesn't work by itself. With no cellphone towers or satellites for the phone to connect up with, she'd just be talking to herself anyway, even if she did have a phone.

As for coins for time-travelling souvenir-hunters to pick up, the subject has been brought up numerous times on the forum before. Go back in time to this thread, for instance.

HOWEVER, if this was a cell phone from the future, the radio waves from the cell phone could, might, should go back along the same path the phone came from. Therefore the radio waves WOULD still be usable. Unfortuately the conversation would have to be with someone in the present only. If you ever watch Stargate Programs they do that there all the time. Right though a time or space warp.
