That "copy" stamp on the reverse looks to me like the digitally-added stamps I've seen on a lot of Chinese counterfeit ebay ads... Does that make this a fake of a fake? |

I reported it.....Also contacted the seller....hopefully it will get removed before someone spends $400 on a $3 copy

And it only has 5 hours left. So hard to believe buyers would throw away hundreds of dollars on a coin and not even look it over to see if it's legit

I wonder if any of those other bids are actually just the seller bidding on his own coin to make it look like there are more bidders than there actually are... I don't know much about ebay's policies, but could a shady-type person set that up? I would think it would be possible... |

I dont think we are going to have time for ebay to pull this one. It is marked as a copy so it is really not breaking any laws either, it is listed in the wrong section but allot of copies are listed in the original section. I think the best we could ever hope for is the seller to pull it or add to the description that it is marked COPY but I doubt that will happen |

judging by the 1880 he has on ebay as well with "very little wear" we know he isn't very honest about his coins by any means |
