1970-S Small Date? - Coin Community Forum

pman860507 Pillar of the Community United States 784 Posts	Posted 07/29/2011 11:39 pm I found this coin while roll searching I dont have high hopes that its a small date (really actually not sure how rare they are). To me the nine looks to be pointed to the number seven. I could be wrong you decide let me know. Also if it is a small date what would the value be for this coin? Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Although the 3rd picture does resemble a small date, I think it is just the angle of the photo. In all the other pics (especially the first one) it looks like a large date.
