If you could choose to have one classic coin design used again on modern coins, which one would it be? (You can change the denomination, too, if you want.)

I wish instead of presidents on the new dollars, they would use the bust dollar design.

All of the "liberty's"...walking, standing, and stitting.

These were some of the most beautiful coins minted imho.

After the ATB Quarters, change the reverse of the quarter to the eagle on the reverse of the Standing Liberty quarter.

I'd love to see some merc dimes come back, however I've also seen some private mints release them as 5oz bullion coins.

I know it's not quite on-topic, and likely apostasy to some folks, but I would love to see a complete change in circulating coins. Get rid of the emphasis on DWM presidents, monuments, and birds of prey, and then open up the coinage to the unlimited possibilities. There is enough design talent in this land to begin creating the classics of tomorrow.

Only surprized that everyone didn't say that.

Agree with Bizybackson; St. Gaudens gold $10 eagle or the incuse Indian - beautiful designs...

I'm somewhat surprised too Carl. I think I own less than 20 total coins of the liberty design, but I still drool everytime I see one.

I don't think I'd want to see it replace the cent though. I'm still having a difficult time with the shield reverse. I don't like it...! and I probably never will...

*stitting*... I blame my famn dingers for all of my typos...

I would like to see the large cent classic head design for the cent, the Liberty head (V) nickel design resurrected, the capped bust design on the dime, Seated Liberty design on the quarter and walking liberty on the half dollar and either get rid of the dollar coins or stop printing the dollar bills. There is no reason to be producing both at the same time. In any case they need to stop putting dead presidents on everything.
