Okay it's not just about minting of coins, it looks like the show is about a lot of random things about coins..

Sounds like an interesting program but unfortunately I don't have cable in my house.

I saw it!

It was a "Modern Marvels" installment. I've always been a big fan of that series. I'd say they spent about 20 minutes of the program on the U.S. Mint piece of it, mostly from a Presidential dollar standpoint. They were showcasing Lincoln, so it's a relatively recent production. Always interesting to see/hear the U.S. Mint artists/engravers interviewed and see bits of the process.

There was also a bit at the end that we can all relate to... there's a guy in Dallas that specializes in cleaning wishing well and fountain coins and donates most of the proceeds to charity. He "employs" kids to help him sort and has a bell that they ring when they find a Wheatie or some other rare find.

Kinda funny; think I'll install one of those!
