*** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

I have been collecting coins for over 40 years and I have not found a checklist or coin program that gives you a useful list ..so I made my own.. based on 40 years of collecting and adding note along the way I come up with
a list that all I do is add & subtract coins numbers or grade. serious collectors need this list..jim..

I do not know if I alowed to have link if not let me know..
sample of Quick Check coinlist

jim50: first of all, welcome to the CCF!

Could you give us more details of your checklist? If it is stored electronically, perhaps you could bring up details of it to the screen, or perhaps get a digital picture of it for posting on this thread.

If it has worked for you, perhaps it may work for some of us, too!

I have created my own checklists, as well. One in Excel, and one in Filemaker Pro.

I have always used a spreadsheet program (for example, Excel) for my inventories and want lists.

I found a program called "Coin Manage" on-line.

It is very complete (at least the Canadian version is, I cannot speak for the US one), showing photo examples, etc. You can also upload your own photos and create want lists. Cost was $35 CDN.

Hope this help!

I have used this coin check list for over six months. This is the most simple and easy to use check list you will ever find. Excel spreadsheet format. You can enter the number one under the grade of the coin and that coin is entered. If you want to add a bunch of data about a coin you can use the note for that box. I don,t need all that data entry. I have over 5,000 coins and I have them in one check list. I use to buy a coin I already had, now I have a copy of this check list printed in a pocket size note book that I take to shows and where ever I am going to be buying coins. The poster promotes this as a check list, but I use it for all my collection organization. I can enter everyday to my check list in just a couple of minutes. I know what I have, and in what grade I have selected for that coin. I have like many people used and made my own coin manage spreadsheets. Most of the time there is too much data entry and I start getting disorganized because of lack of keeping up with the many changes that I make with my coins everyday. I don't get behind to many products, but when I find something that I think is a good thing I like to share it with others. I believe everyone who collects coins should check this out.
Since I don't have enough post to show link contact me for link.
Thanks Big Ed
