after returning the canon power shot HS100 ELPH as I just couldn't get the results I was looking for...
I returned it and a few days later I happened into a pawn shot and found a A3100 IS with no charger for $40 bucks which had most of the same features as the HS 100, So I bought it and a charger for $6 bucks off ebay, After reviewing many of all your posts and which settings to use to get my F numbers up and shutter speeds up...I'm getting much better results over all but still have a lot to learn, I dropped the light setting a little as I kept getting to much glare using 2 lamps on the desk, 2.0X teleconverter zoom about 16 inches from the coin lights about 12 inches
