Nice find!! They won't price it until a couple of weeks before release. Spot silver will have an impact for sure...

In the trade these coins are called "burnished" uncirclated, although the mint never has called them that. Good to see this product offering given a release date.

Actually the Mint is the one who 1st named the finish on the blanks "burnished"

From the Mint website:

Quote:
American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coins offer silver precious metal purchasers an additional collectible version of the popular American Eagle Silver Bullion Coin. These coins feature a finish similar to its bullion coin counterpart, and they are struck on specially burnished blanks at the United States Mint, West Point, N.Y.

In 2006,07,08 there were three different types of ASE's:

Bullion (yours)..no mint mark)
Burnished...W mint mark
Proof

I didn't mention the reverse proof 2006 since it was a one year issue

The burnished was not produced in 2009/10....this is the one that will be on sale the end of September

The bullion issue has been produced every year since 1986

Bullion is bullion is bullion> Why would anyone pay a premium for bullion, just a commodity. Last one holding the bullion when the spot price takes a nosedive, loses.
