I would say AU-55/58. I like the toning! Nice coin!

AU. You could post some more photos that reflect how the coin actually looks also, that might help.

While MOST WOULD THINK any New Orleans strikes are ALWAYS WEAK strikes, over the ear looks pretty good, not a flat strike which would leave the hair over the ear flat, and if the reverse is also flatly struck usually in general the breast feathers and through the LEG'S and to eagles Knuckles are flat with mushed details..note the hair on the OBV is decent ==AU coin. and the breast feathers are worn,But Chest and legs and knuckles not flat. Chest rounded NO feathers defined but not flat, legs not flat some detail in the leg's feathers knuckles worn...AU50/53 I would lean towards AU53....No way AU55/58 in todays standards even for 1894-0 AU55 would have some chest feathers unless this coin was flatly struck and all other details are very crisp... all indications show this was a nice strike with some normal wear and tear a very nice coin! I would love to have this coin! but wouldn't consider it ever as AU55 let alone AU58....the strike is too good...

Keep in mind the coin is better in hand.....the chest feathers are there ...i believe slightly worn but the majority of the feathers are there.....my camera has a hard time picking up the chest feathers on morgans plus combined with the gold toning.....that being said in hand I felt it was at least a 55.....I believe there is too much detail to go lower ....however I'd be satisfied at a 53 as well.....I've got $110 in the coin so in any AU grade I'm in good shape.

Looks like minimal circulation wear and loss of luster. I give it an AU58.

It is actually a darn good strike for an O! But I see signs of wear at the rim and breast to make it an AU, maybe 58

I see what looks like slight wear in places even though O's are known for weaker strikes. AU58

ANA says on EF45: Detail is complete with some high points flat. It is hard to see on the picture, but this is as far as I go with this coin. Seeing it in real it might be one or two steps up, but not on the picture.

Great coin could be any where from AU55 to MS? weak strike. I do think it looks more like a weak strike, but unless you have it in hand it is hard to tell. There could also be some wear.
