Hello,

This is a common 1 Kreuzer coin from the year 1881 when the Happsburg family was still on the throne. There is nothing interesting about the average kreuzer from the 1880's, but I know that some people would kill for a tone like this. I would appreciate some of the communities knowledge on the grade and value of this coin.

Thanks,
Solace-ian

Pretty coin with attractive color. Beauty and toning (or lack thereof) is in the eye of the beholder, though. For me, blue and purple toning is the most appealing on old silver. Something like this:

Beautiful toning, but it being copper and so common (nearly 38 million minted) means its value is limited. I honestly don't see it fetching more than $4 or $5 anywhere.
