On the other hand, Firefox 2 has a spell checker integrated into it. Even works when typing posts on a forum. I upgraded to IE7. Maybe I'll try it some day.

I've been using Firefox exclusively for a few years now. Make sure you're on 2.0 - the last versions of 1.x were, in my box, glitchy with graphics and online .pdf files. 2.0 is a significant improvement in stability from that standpoint. I like it. I hear IE finally figured out that tabbed browsing is pretty cool. Only took them five years.

I was wondering if it might have something to do with "Pop Ups" as the lastest version seems I have to allow every site that I want pop up to occur.
But the spellchecker problem says...
"An error was encountered on the server. Please try again later"

I had the same problem with IE-7 so I uninstalled it. It caused a lot more glitches to come up on my computer, not just internet related problems. I think IE is garbage, but I had heard that v.7 was gonna be a good one. Hah!!! I'll stick with Firefox, thank you

I'm going to download it again tonight. I think the ftp is still broken, which I use all the time. I've downloaded it and reverted 3 times already because of glitches. I've heard there will be a point where it's going to download automagically with windows update, but I don't know if it's true.

it probably is, Microsoft is the worlds worst at forcing updates on people that don't really want them

I just checked in IE7 and the spell checker still doesn't work in it, the picture upload is now working but there is still a problem with this feature
