Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 12/02/2006 2:55 pm Twice now I have had trouble getting into the forum due to timed out notices,,and or service unavailable,, one notice even said catastrophic failure no other areas just the forums, I can go to the Image galleries, or any other place, its just when I try to go to the forums,, even the recent topics drop down does not appear ? any Ideas ? I'm at a loss because I can go to ebay ,other forums and everything is ok, it appears to just be here . Rick Report this Post to the Staff

Morgan Fred Rest in Peace United States 2684 Posts	Posted 12/02/2006 8:26 pm I also wasn't able to access the forum last night, was able to access other pages, but my satellite connection has been acting up this past week so ALL connections were VERY slow (as in 4kbs) right up until today. Any particular server might not come up for me at all (will time out) if it is also having a slow moment. HughesNet goes through these phases every once in awhile when it retunes or reconfigures its satellite transponders or its own servers at its National Operating Center in Maryland. I usually wait them out. Things seem to be back to normal as of this afternoon and evening. Fred Report this Post to the Staff
