Those coins look fantastic!
I have been back and forth on collecting ancient coins, but there has always been something about Rome....
Again, great finds!

Nice group of coins, I particularly like the Claudius II. DIVO CLAVIDO, CONSAECRATIO. Looks like RIC 257.

Very nice. Did you find these in Croatia? I have been to Siska (formerly Siscia)and Pula and have found some good deals (so far no tourist junk), Again nice coins

Cool - like the Volusian and the Roma.
The Tetricus looks Barbarous to me but still a nice find.

To me the choice item is your second Julian from Siscia with the M in the reverse field. The first example is more like most we see and not easy to read. These are so often really poorly made since bad inflation at that time caused hurried work at the mint but this one has clear and complete legends and a nice overall 'eye appeal'. One theory is that that M suggested that one thousand of these was worth a gold solidus but I'm not sure I accept that since the exchanges between gold and billon were probably changing on a daily basis in those rough times. The Cyzicus mint Delmatius is a nice coin, too.

You have some nice coins in there. Have you attributed them all or would you like some help? There are a couple in there that I'm jealous of . JW
