My favourite type of toned Morgans are the ones that show the actual pattern of the weave from the canvas bag........textile toned. Very few aquire it, the coin had to be placed immediatley next to the cloth, with sufficient pressure from within to press it against the fabric (near the bottom of bag, or from a bag with other bags heaped on top), and remained undisturbed for about 60 years.
When you do come across a real one (as opposed to the common
ebay 'fingerprint' textile), they can be quite dramatic.
Here's an 1882-S in PCGS ms65 with a very nicely placed textile pattern that I chased for over 2 years after I first saw it in one of the Goldberg auctions about 7 years ago. I hounded the dealer who bought it (for his own collection) until he couldn't take it anymore and finally sold it to me.
