I would wait an see if silver drops more by market close Friday, and if it does, snipe some silver proofs at a good price. On ebay they will still want 50 plus....

I think they are a good investment, but many guys who hate premiums and stick to 90% silver still like them it seems like....

Uh, 1995 W's are anything but ordinary Proof ASE's.
Only 30,125 were minted. Their market value is above $2000.

Technically, bullion or common Proof ASE's are probably a better long-term investment (which explains why I don't have a 1995-W ASE), but I don't think you'll ever lose your shirt by owning the key of the ASE's. It's highly unlikely any succeeding variety of ASE will be even close to that low mintage figure.

The 1995 w ASE is the only one I do not have, it's on my have to get list. Prices have dropped for this rarity from previous highs.
