Wonder why someone put 1914 on it for a date since there were no Mercury dimes at all in 1914.

It is a fantasy piece. Put 1914 so it could not be considered deceptive. Waste of money for sure.

BUT what if that is really GOLD?
What if that was the first Mercury dime made as an experiment in pure GOLD? AND, what happened to the 1915 Mercury dime?
Rest in Peace

From the listing: "This is a reproduction of the Mercury dime

10mm in Diameter

.81 Grams

BEAUTIFUL UNCIRCULATED MINI Mercury dime GOLD COIN. THESE COINS CAME FROM A LOT THAT INCLUDED COINS WITH VARIOUS LEVELS OF GOLD. THESE COINS WERE PRODUCED FROM 1966 TO THE PRESENT,AND ARE KNOWN TO BE FROM 8K TO 24K GOLD. SOME WERE PLATED 22K OVER LOWER GRADE GOLD AND OTHER NON GOLD METAL ALLOY.

THESE COINS CAN BE ANY OR ALL OF THE DIFFERENT TYPES AND GRADES.

SOME COINS HAVE SOLD FOR AS MUCH AS $40 EACH..."

That's like saying, "But it was in the same room as ... " or "But it looked like a flying pig!"

Not convinced yet? There's NO returns! Yay! All that and no returns? What am I waiting for?
