i saw a Kennedy half dollar today for sale , it looked like it had been stamped 3 times but only on the chin, it had a chin next to a chin next to a chin, he had 3 chins! is it worth 20.00? should I buy it?

It's hard to say without pictures.Sounds like it could be Machine Doubling in which case it's worth about fifty cents.There are diff types of doubling and without pictures I can't say much more.

Very likely Machine Doubling, but impossible to tell without images. Value would be nothing above that of any normal half dollar of that issue and grade.
