I can read russia but do not understand the words.

Both coins have "One Rouble" written on them below the soviet emblem.

CCCP is USSR. C in Cyrillic is S in Roman script!

COBET is SOVET, so the word is something like soviet

First coin is to commemorate the 50th year of the Soviet Union.

Second is to commemorate the 100th anniversary since the birth of Lenin.

The Soviet Union was officially established in December 1922
