Most of us don't have the right equipment to take the real professional shots, or the lenses to get the true detail and color of the coins we want to shoot with out spending a grand...
But thanks to many there have been much help from those who travel before us and help us with there knowledge....there are many Point and Shoot camera's we are using trying to get those perfect shots but on coins its very difficult...Yet there are some very good results as CCF users have been showing....Lighting is the most important thing..And I have the most HOKEYest set up.

Hokey-Setups of the many things for good pictures are about lighting, and the tripod or stabilazation of the shot...We don't have all the money to have these fine details for the perfect shot. yet users of common Point and shoot cameras can have good results....here is some of mine...

while I still have a bone yard set up. after reviewing so many threads and the so many nuances of the BEST setups. and us point and shoot guys, I have been pleased with my results as of late...Although I have been dreamning of a new/old canon DSLR camera, I have to wonder why such an expence?I figure its about $1500 to get the Canon rebel and the "L" series lense which can go for 2 grand..or our poor point and shoot stuff, with much trying can do great things....here are a few poor photos that are from my $50 camera..I'm still working on it..

I'd be pretty pleased with the results if I were you, too. You've gotten this thing rather figured out.

I was very happy with the results, I changed a couple of set ups, one a block of wood to keep the lens dead center to the coin, Which I think has squared up the coin with the lens..lets the sensor pick up the coin ...I changed from 2.0X zoom and Macro to 1.5X and Macro, and for some reason I got much better shutter speeds consistently.. and for some reason most of my lighting problems went away, for once I could see the light illuminate the coin and shadows disappear as I moved the light source, I'm still using the 65K CFL bulbs but didn't seem to get all the glare and shadow issues I had before, would the zoom have effects like this?I'm thinking of keeping it on 1.5X addicted to these crazy photo's..

aladin you certainly are getting the focus and detail in some of those shots. Hope you don't mind but I noticed on your other thread you were asking about Gimp. I ran one of your photos through it just to give you an idea. You may want to take a look at your camera's custom white balance and see if you can get the colors more in line.
