I live in northeast Pennsylvania, and my brother found this old Franklin coin out fishing.
I cant really make out anything but Franklin on it, and I cant find a picture of it anywhere on the net. Can anyone tell me what I've got here? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I can't help identify the coin. But I am curious. Was this found in water? It looks like copper but I don't think that copper would last in water. Maybe it is brass? How big is it?

It's one of those "Presidential" medals from the series given away in the 1960s by gas stations - or what's left of one, anyway. "Franklin" in this case is the first name, Franklin Pierce. Example in slightly better condition on eBay.

Thank you, I lost about 4 hours searching this thing and didn't find squat. And yes it was by the water he found it, but not in it.
