As a member of this forum suggested, I am trying to learn how to grade my coins. I have graded this quarter, but I want to see what others may grade it at. I want to see how far my first try is off. =) Thank you.

I'll bite, the obverse looks much better than the reverse over all I guess vf20, just a guess its been many years..

Judging from the obverse I would say Ef-40

I would guess VF-35.

I like EF40 for this. I think the reverse picture does not show the detail this coin really has.

(Just FYI: there is a US Coin Grading topic section under Classic US coins section).

Thank you for the tip Moe145. I'm new to this forum & didn't know where to post this. Are there different grading codes? I heard of VF & XF but not EF.

EF and XF are both used interchangeably for the same grades. It's just a matter of personal preference.
