Not a world coin expert but, appears to be an 8 Reale (Hispania). Spain I believe.
It has been cut, smaller pieces of silver or, "pieces of 8", for commerce purposes. These started off round, and come in all shapes and sizes from this purpose. The merchant would clip off a piece of silver with shears as payment for the loaf of bread or whatever.

It is an 8 reales coin from Mexico, dated 1733 assayer MF.
KM-48 VG $500.

They were originally made that way, shear cut. It is a transitional type between cob coinage and milled pillar "dos mundos".

But I would be careful, as counterfeits exist aplenty. The one pictured above has two holes plugged and has a strange feel about it. Authentication would be the way to go.
