Very nice purchase Ed they look good.
Thanks, Bruce. I agree that they are good looking bars but then I AM more than a little prejudiced in this matter!

A beautiful stash Ed, not to mention a great investment. I'm VERY jealous!
Thanks for the support, Jack. I am hoping that these will make great inflation fighters. No matter how much Bernanke wishes it, he cannot print ANY of THIS!

Very nice! I love those 5-ounce bars. Do you plan to sell any on the forum?
Thanks, CoinHunter. What? Sell my babies?! Not unless there is some serious SHTF scenario in progress.

They are nice looking bars. Do you know what spread you get between purchase price and selling price when you sell them?
Not sure about that MK. I do know that bars, rounds, and 90% coins are probably the lowest cost ways to own PMs. I'm a LOT less worried about the bid / ask thing than I am about not having any when it finally becomes obvious to one and all that they are desperately needed.

I really like the silvertown site...awesome prices and free shipping!
I think you might save a few cents getting the 5oz or 10oz bars, but I really like and prefer the smaller bars.
But that's probably more silver then I have in my entire collection! Looks awesome!
Yes, SilverTowne IS pretty cool about this. Gotta love that free shipping for sure. Also like that they accept CCs without surcharges.
Yes, the 5-oz and 10-oz bars are both great. I like both sizes a lot even though I don't own any of the 10-oz. bars... yet. The smaller bars might be a bit more liquid but then the ounce difference really isn't all that great to a dealer. Most people sell or buy multiple bars, so what difference if it is 5 10-oz. bars or 10 5-oz. bars? Only thing I can think of is that smaller bars would allow us to sell less at one time. Fortunately, I have ASEs and 90% US silver coins holding down the small end.
My goal is still to acquire 1,000 oz. of silver over time. I'm not really collecting it at a very fast rate but try to pick some up every month. Like a savings account, a little here and a little there WILL add up over time.

Nice purchase Ed. I am a big fan of the 5 oz bars !
Thanks, Trip. Yeah, I really wanted to start with the 10 oz. bars but they were out of stock, so I tried these instead. Glad that I did now. They seem to be growing on me.
