The grizzly cost me just under $42 not so long ago. $45 for the timberwolf. I don't think the cougar will be cheaper when it comes out in September.

Not sure I like that coin. Looks like a cat that's done to much roids.

I will get one for my set, but I don't like it as much as the wolf ( of which I bought quite a few) or the grizzly ( half a dozen).

the gold coin's graphic appeared in 1997's RCMP musical ride gold bullion coin. I remember the mintage of that coin was 13,000, but some document says majority of this coins were melted so it is quite rare, does anyone know how many were melted?

I'm sure the coin will not have any issues selling out, but the cat seems a little off to me. I'm not sure weather it's the stance or the over look. But I'm sure I'll end up buying them anyway

I know! The grizzlies haven't come down in price at all! Everywhere I look it's $50 big ones.
I like the rcmp gold, but not the mountain lion. Why do coins get cartoonier as our technology advances?

Quite frankly I don't really like any of the Wildlife Series silver maple leafs so far. The timber wolf is less impressive than my dog, the grizzly's more chubby than imposing, and the cougar looks like a toothless tiger fitted with reptile legs. Can't complain too much though, my wife and I bought and sold over 400 of the grizzlies already, and by the looks of things, the demand for the cougars will be the same.

the mountie gold coin is 99999 with face value 200, not a replacement of maple leaf. it costs $50 more than GML. I still can't accept the face that 1 GML costs $1900+ right now. 2 months ago it was still around 1500
